How I Wake Up
I have been recently trying to wake up at a more reasonable time. When I say reasonable, I mean before 10:30am. For a whole week, I was doing so well. I woke up around 7:47 (I have a weird thing with odd numbers) and would go downstairs to pour myself a glass of orange juice. I repeat: I was doing so well. What happened?! I would set my alarm for early and everything would be fine. Then when I woke up at almost 8am, I would hit snooze until 10:30am. By the time I rolled myself out of bed, poured my orange juice and sat down to watch Hulu (as I do every morning after I wake up), I would realize that half my day was already gone. I live to regret not getting up earlier everyday. The regret continues when I am not tired once 11pm comes around. I have tried to sleep and I end up just lying in bed, eyes open, counting sheep, listening to nature sounds, not sleeping. By the time I am tired, it's 2am. I can not wake up at 8am if I go to sleep at 2am. That is not going to happen. Therefore, I am stuck in this vicious circle of not sleeping how I want to. If I do wake up at 8am, I need a nap at 6pm meaning that I would go to sleep later. On top of all of this, I need to do my homework. I procrastinate so much it is a surprise that I accomplish anything. I know HOW to be productive and to do things. I just don't. I've been working on it and I hope I get better at it. I guess we will just have to see where the future takes us. And if the future isn't going to do us any good, I'm going to buy some ZzzQuil.

Cleaning House
Today, my brother and I worked on cleaning out our house a bit. We managed to remove the 4 (yes, 4) bags of clothes that have been meaning to go to Salvation Army. Yea! Charity! I hope people enjoy my quality clothes that I never wear because I am always wearing the same pairs of jeans and the same couple of shirts. (#wardrobeupdate?) We were also able to remove a bunch of computer related things from our "computer" room. It's really more of a collection-of-stuff room. After 3 years, the computer room has a working computer, which is why cleaning needs to occur. Did you know that Staples will take your computer things for free if they are on the list? It's kind of awesome and convenient. Does anyone know how to get rid of a bunch of quality junk? I can't just throw it away. It could be useful to someone. Just not someone in this household because its buried under a pile of stuff. Not that my family can qualify as hoarders....it's just that if I wasn't here, they could. I need to have a yard sale, but I do not have the time or patience to do such a thing. If I was willing to pay for shipping costs I would probably also do Ebay. How do you ship an exercise ball? Actually, I'm keeping that because it provides me with joy and cardio for hours while I do homework. I just don't know how to get rid of everything, especially with my Twitter addiction starting up. I guess one day I will either figure it out or move out. One way or another- not my mess, not my problem.
